  • We often complain that we do not have a big team or enough resources to do innovation. However, we fail to motivate our current team to reach the peak of their expertise for moving towards the long-term goals.
  • Every successful start-up did not start with the large team but a small team of people who are motivated and passionate about solving societal problems daily. Importantly, this cannot be done without an effective leader who is willing to coach and motivate the team to help them getting better day by day.
  • It is challenging to be an effective leader because it requires both the technical expertise (i.e., for giving constructive feedback about their work) and emotion intelligence (i.e., for understanding the need to be motivated of each member in the team).
